And now for the
important news ....

Rush Limbaugh joined the NFL Sunday Countdown show as a
football analyst. He certainly adds some intelligence to the
profession. When Terry Bradshaw was in high school he nearly froze
to death at the drive-in movie waiting to see Closed for the Winter.
The Boston Red Sox game on Friday was delayed by lightning
strikes at Fenway Park. The message was very clear. They had
better get Teddy Ballgame out of that freezer in Scottsdale or
it's the Curse of the Headless Splinter for the next century.
Jamaica declared Friday it may stop appealing court cases to
the London High Court and use a Caribbean nations consortium
court. It's more culturally attuned. In a recent criminal case in
Kingston, the jury found itself hopelessly dreadlocked.
American Idol spin-off Arab Idol is a ratings hit in the
Middle East. It's no snap to produce. The easy part is finding
talented young performers from all over the Arab world but the
hard part is teaching Saudi Arabian viewers how to vote.
Democratic candidate Howard Dean drew an overflow crowd
Monday at a forum in Washington state. The crowd jostled to get
close to him as he answered question after question about health
care. This is why doctors don't go to cocktail parties.
Willie Nelson sang for Dennis Kucinich in Iowa to highlight
the family farm crisis on Saturday. Farmers are facing their most
serious competition ever. So many young people in the Midwest are
doing methamphetamines they have stopped eating.
Gary Hart was asked by Colorado Democrat leaders on Monday
to run for the U.S. Senate next year. Unfortunately he can't move
to Washington. All adulterers are required to remain in Colorado
to make sure Kobe Bryant can get a jury of his peers.
