And now for the
important news ....

Saudi Arabia's Prince Saud called Wednesday for a quick end
to the American occupation of Iraq. He's not the only one on edge.
Every Arab ruler is smearing lamb's blood on their palace door
next week hoping that George W. Bush will pass over them.
Baghdad erupted in joyous looting Wednesday after the city
fell. A feeling of brotherhood prevailed. The most touching scene
all day was the sight of a Sunni, a Shiite and a Kurd running down
the street, and they were carrying a TV set together.
The United States Marines rolled into central Baghdad
Wednesday. They were welcomed by men offering flowers, kisses,
hugs and tears. The Iraqi Republican Guard's vaunted Liberace
Division didn't turn out to be as tough as was advertised.
Baghdad residents stormed the city's central square
Wednesday and tossed a rope around the neck of a twenty-foot
statue of Saddam Hussein. Some people cringed when the statue hit
the ground. No one has seen anything like it since Al Gore conceded.
Gary Hart told Iowans Monday he will decide this week
whether he will become a Democrat candidate for president. They
remember his last campaign with great affection in Iowa. For over
a year, farmers' daughters were telling Gary Hart jokes.
