And now for the
important news ....

The Dixie Chicks insulted President Bush last week in
London. Radio stations took them off the air. The Centers for
Disease Control announced it's the first confirmed case of death
by microphone outside the Southern California quarantine area.
President Bush met Tony Blair and Jose Maria Aznar Sunday on
a remote island in the Atlantic. It was very tense. The prime
minister of Britain and the prime minister of Spain nearly came to
blows over which one was the Skipper and which one was the Professor.
Senator John Edwards was booed at the California Democratic
Convention Sunday for supporting military action against Iraq. He
simply can't help himself. No one makes more money off death and
dismemberment than personal injury attorneys.
Mexico offered Sunday to pay the airfare for any of its
citizens who wish to return home from the Middle East. There were
no takers. Los Angeles is proof that Mexicans would rather live in
the middle of a war zone than go back to Mexico.
The FBI admitted Friday it has eighty surveillance aircraft
spying on Americans today. That didn't take long. The ink isn't
dry on the Homeland Security Act, and already America is a
government of the peephole, by the peephole, and for the peephole.
