And now for the
important news ....

http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | GOP Senate leader Bill Frist rammed through an airline bailout bill Tuesday that prevents the money from being used for executive pay. Good thing he's a heart doctor. As soon as he proposed cracking down on CEO compensation, he had to spend all day on the Senate floor reviving his fellow Republicans.

Senate Democrats insisted Tuesday on adding another $10 billion to President Bush's war spending package. Hillary Clinton complained that the pie is not big enough. It's an announcement that could only be made while wearing an A-frame dress.

The White House canceled its TV ad campaign that tried to link drug use with terrorism funding. The $150 million campaign showed two aging boomers discussing whether or not to do drugs. That's a lot of money just to get through to Nick Nolte.

The Advertising Women of New York awarded its Grand Ugly award to the Miller Lite ad featuring two beautiful women mud- wrestling. It's completely sexist. For its part, Miller has apologized for the current six-month wait to buy Miller Lite.
