Ohio's Governor Bob Taft dedicated a historical marker in Steubenville, Ohio, Sunday to mark the birthplace of the late, great Dean Martin. The singer really would have loved it. The marker is three parts granite and one part vermouth.
CIA Director George Tenet flew to the Middle East to discuss peace with both sides. He was touched by the local hospitality. Every night he was there, the hotel maid turned down his bedspread and left a chocolate hand grenade on the pillow.
Taliban spy chief Mullah Khaksar said he warned the U.S. of al-Qaeda terrorist attack plans back in 1999. It just gets worse and worse. In the last week alone, we've learned that the U.S. ignored warnings from the FBI Phoenix office, the FBI Minneapolis office, the president of Egypt, the Taliban chief of intelligence, and John Rocker.
