And now for the
important news ....

Washington State coach Bill Doba noted Friday that behavior
standards for coaches have changed. He said in the 1960s, tales of
President Kennedy's womanizing were hushed up. Thus he was able to
coach Bill Clinton to victories over Yale and Kansas.
Washington Huskies coach Rick Neuheisel was
fired Thursday. The school cited his gambling on
NCAA basketball, although he says the school gave
him permission. That night, Hillary Clinton went on
Barbara Walters and said she believed his story.
Hillary Clinton told British TV she's forgiven her husband
for all the times he has cheated on her and embarrassed her in
public. It made Britain wistful. If Princess Diana had only been
this lacking in self-respect, she would be alive today.
Roger Moore was knighted by Queen Elizabeth Friday for his
lifetime of work for U.N. charities and Kiwanis children's fund.
He's celebrating his seventy-fifth birthday. Roger Moore just got
an offer to play James Bond again in License to Fish.
John Kerry called for alternative fuels, conservation and
energy independence in a speech in Iowa Friday. That's been tried
before. Back in the 1970s Jimmy Carter asked Americans to use
alternative sources of energy and the result was a cocaine epidemic.
Tiger Woods charged
Thursday that PGA players
are now hitting monster
length drives with hot-faced
drivers. The clubs have
three problems. They are
illegal, they give golfers an unfair advantage, and
there's a six-month waiting list for them.
Michael Jordan convinced a judge Friday to throw
out a five-million-dollar lawsuit against him by a
former lover. She never had a chance. The judge
ruled that a promise to pay hush money to a mistress
is unenforceable under the Clinton Doctrine.
Hillary Clinton shot up ten points in the Gallup Poll
on Thursday. Homeland Security didn't waste any
time. They issued a new threat-level warning system
that depends on what color pantsuit Hillary Clinton
is wearing in today's interview.
California Governor Gray Davis could face recall in
September over the $38 billion deficit and a possible
tax increase. Voters are wild with fear. Everyone's
so worried about monkeypox, they're throwing the
weasels out with the prairie dogs.
