CRUCIAL

[TUESDAY'S issue begins after this sidebar. But before going there, PLEASE read this large font, but actually short, letter. ]

This describes how our readers view JWR. It also aptly describes the severity of the situation we now face.

We are inching toward the end of our annual fundraiser. It's the last few days and we are significantly short.

I'm not exaggerating in the least when I say that this year's appeal has been the most challenging fundraising environment we have ever encountered.

This note is a heartfelt appeal to all who appreciate what JWR does, but will not donate.

We need your support at this time.

I give you my word: JWR isn't going away and shouldn't be allowed to go away. The site's future, however, will depend on your kindness.

PLEASE don't assume somebody else will come to our rescue. They won't. This is evidenced by the drastic state we are in.

We need you!

We're confident that with the size and strength of our readership, our budget should be a pretty attainable goal.

If you come here -- if you believe what we do makes a difference, if you gain from JWR -- PLEASE help out with what you can afford.

For a paltry sum, you can -- and will -- make a very BIG difference.

For a paltry sum, you can -- and will -- make a very BIG difference.

The most common donation readers are expressing gratitude with is less than a buck-a-week.

Your $50 can be a one-time gift or can be divvied up quarterly or even monthly. (In fact, any donation can.)

If you are smart enough to grasp JWR's value (and you, no doubt, do) I suspect -- would even be willing to wager -- that you are financially secure enough to chip-in a measly buck-a-week.

Or more.

You certainly know what a buck buys these days. Or, more likely, what it does not.

Let me say this again --- and not for dramatic effect: PLEASE HELP. NOW

All expressions of your kindness are tax-deductible. They can be made through our secure online site or by making out a check and mailing it to the sponsoring foundation (Keren Yehoshua V'Yisroel/JWR) -- marked in the "memo section" for "Internet Education Project" -- at:
