Time for a college football super league

http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | Here's a suggestion to the college presidents at the nine Atlantic Coast Conference schools who are reviewing expansion plans:

Don't stop at 10, 12 or 13, go to 50 or 60 franchises.

Division 1 football schools should stop the pretense now. It's professional football. So the college presidents should consider adopting the Canadian Junior Hockey League model and create a super league of say 50-60 colleges; separate from the NCAA and continue their TV deals and various sponsorships and hire 18 to 22 year olds to represent the college as football players.

Of course there would be some problems like Notre Dame's TV contract with NBC.

If Notre Dame became a part of this super league, would it agree to revenue sharing?

And what would be fair compensation for players, and would the NFL buy players from this alliance?

NHL teams have to pay junior teams for the right to draft players.

If college sports is all about football and money, let the football factories separate and form an association like the Canadian Hockey League ,which is nothing more than a development league for the NHL.
