War Against Women

A lot has been written about "war on men" and I do agree that our culture has shown a general hostility towards masculinity and all things intrinsically male in recent years. But what I find interesting and disturbing is that I haven't read or heard anyone bring up another war that many don't even realize is being waged. The war against women. And there certainly is one, make no mistake about it.

This war actually is not new, it began decades ago under the guise of so-called "women's lib." Calling a thing that is the opposite of what it really is, is a tried and true trick of the left. Women's lib wasn't really a force to empower women at all, its intention was, and still is, to destroy the very essence of what constitutes a man and a woman.

The ultimate goal of the left is to undermine Western Civilization in any and all ways they can. One way to do this is to purposely confuse people with words and terms. Sexual identity and gender identity is one way they're doing this. We all know (or should know) that there are only two sexes, male and female. But the left has been promoting the idea that there are many genders (LGBTQI+) to which people can identify. This is being pushed in our public schools and in all aspects of public life.

Not only does this confuse impressionable children into believing they can choose from dozens of genders what identity they wish to be, but it has blurred what a man and a woman is. Remember the question that was put to Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson during her confirmation hearings. A senator asked Jackson to define the word, "woman" and she said she could not. After all, she said, "I'm not a biologist." This person was eventually confirmed as the newest justice of the Supreme Court. If we can't even define what a woman is, then the female sex has been devalued as never before in human history.

President Biden's revisionist changes to Title IX (a law passed in 1972) is another example of how womanhood is being erased. Former Secretary of Education, Betty Devos has pointed out that the intent of Title IX law was aimed to elevate women, particularly in school sports. "Fifty years later Ñ at the command of folks on the fringe Ñ the Biden administration is making moves to end women's sports as we know them," DeVos wrote.

The original law states, "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." But the Biden administration has now "redefined sex" to mean sexual orientation and gender identity. As DeVos says, "The implications of such a sweeping change are unmistakable. The proposal would make it illegal for a school or state to prohibit biological men from competing against women." Which is exactly what has happened.

Men athletes who consider themselves "women" (whether they have undergone surgery or not) are competing against biological women in sports and are winning! Of course they are winning, they're built stronger and have natural male testosterone and endurance that woman do not possess. All things being equal, a woman cannot win against a man in physical endurance.

I mentioned earlier that this war against women has been going on for decades. Again, it started with changes in language. When our progressive culture began to eliminate the feminine descriptive terms for women, we started to erase what a woman was. When a woman who worked in acting stopped being referred to as "an actress" and was labeled "an actor" she lost her standing as a woman. Same for waitress, stewardess, hostess, and many other terms which once belonged to the female sex. Instead of elevating femininity, eliminating female descriptions devalue femininity.

(Shout out to the Disney Company: Since "princess" is a female derivation of "prince" isn't it high time you stopped referring to female royalty in that way? Just call them princes.)

So here we are. At a point where even a Justice of the Supreme Court cannot or will not define what constitutes a woman. Women are losing ground in this war. Wake up, people.

Shakespeare said it. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." The reference is used to state that the names of things do not affect what they really are. How true. A man is still a man and a woman is still a woman, no matter what new names you call them.

I didn't make this up. It came from a much higher source.
