American Ignorance or Apathy?

The antisemitic, pro-Hamas protests in this country began just about seven months ago, literally the day after Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7th, indiscriminately killing, raping and butchering men, women, children and babies and kidnapping many others.

The protests, which began on ivy league college campuses, quickly spilled out into the streets of our cities. Shouts of "Kill the Jews," "From the river to the sea." And "We are Hamas," were brazenly blasted through bullhorns while Hamas and Palestinian flags and banners were proudly waved and displayed.

Nothing was done to stop them, even after shouts of "Death to Israel" and "Death to America." It's "freedom of speech," the Biden administration told us. "And they do have a point," Biden said. Yes, the idiot actually said that.

The protests grew over the coming months. Bridges, major highways, and tunnels were blocked by the terrorist loving protesters. Jewish students were intimidated and spat on at school. Nothing was done to stop this.

And now (As I knew it would happen) things are getting even uglier. Read these news reports from Tuesday April 30th

"NEW YORK (AP) β€” Dozens of protesters took over a building at Columbia University in New York early Tuesday, barricading entrances and unfurling a Palestinian flag from a window in the latest escalation of demonstrations against the Israel-Hamas war on college campuses nationwide. The school promised they would face expulsion.

"The occupation at Columbia β€” where protesters had shrugged off an earlier ultimatum to abandon a tent encampment Monday or be suspended β€” unfolded as other universities stepped up efforts to clear out encampments. Police swept through some campuses, spurring confrontations with protesters and plenty of arrests. In rarer instances, university officials and protest leaders have struck agreements to restrict the disruption to campus life.

"In a statement Tuesday, Columbia spokesperson Ben Chang said, "Students occupying the building face expulsion." Chang said the university had given protesters a chance to leave peacefully and finish the semester, but that those who didn't agree to the terms from Monday were being suspended β€” restricted from all academic and recreational spaces, allowed only to enter their residences, and, for seniors, ineligible to graduate.

"Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation β€” vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances β€” and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday," he said. That's what he said. What he does remains to be seen.

Shore News Network out of New Jersey reported the following on the same day: "New York, NY – An incident at Columbia University has underscored the persistent threat of antisemitism that continues to plague not only academic institutions but our society at large, especially during the β€˜pro-Palestinian' protests at universities this week.

"A video has emerged of Jewish students being subjected to physical assault and intimidation, culminating in their forced removal from the campus premises. This egregious act of discrimination is not only an affront to the principles of diversity and inclusion but also a stark reminder of the need for unwavering vigilance against all forms of bigotry. The incident, which occurred amidst a heated environment, saw Jewish students surrounded by a hostile mob, their safety jeopardized solely on the basis of their religious identity.

Anti-Israel protesters vandalized a statue of George Washington on the George Washington University (GWU) campus in Washington, DC, draping it with a Palestinian flag.

And across the country a Jewish student at UCLA who was blocked from going to class by masked pro-Palestinian protesters said Tuesday that his incident was just the latest in the "pro Hamas" takeover of universities across America. "I take the same path to class every single day, and when I got there, it was blocked off by these students. Not a security guard, but by these students," Eli Tsives told the crew of Fox & Friends. "I showed them my ID, and I said, 'This is the way I enter to class. Please let me in."

Late Tuesday night rioting broke out on the UCLA campus and police were called out to respond to the violence.

And still no one is stopping this. What in the hell is the matter with Americans today? Have they forgotten history, or are they simply ignorant of it. Or are they Jew haters themselves or maybe just don't give a damn one way or the other?

Things will get worse.

Jewish groups have complained about it and some have marched in solidarity with Israel in the streets. But so far no aggressive pushback against the terrorist sympathizers calling for the end of Israel and the death of all Jews. Trust me, this will change. If this antisemitism continues, if the Hamas mobs cross the line, and become rioters, If they start attacking Jewish people and desecrating Jewish synagogues and cemeteries, then young Jewish men will finally begin fighting back. I haven't a doubt in the world. And they would be right to do so.

Someone has to defend the Jewish Americans in this country, the Biden regime isn't doing it. The university administrators aren't doing it. The state and local governments aren't doing it. Once again it falls on the Jews all alone to protect themselves.

Nobody else is.
