And now for the
important news ....

http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | President Bush returns to America today after a three-day trip to London. He was upstaged by royalty all week. In one day President Bush was overshadowed at a state dinner by the Queen of England and then knocked off the news by the King of Pop.

Wesley Clark shrugged off a report he ordered an attack on the Russian Army in Kosovo that fortunately went unobeyed. Reporters never bring it up because no one wants to make him angry. Heaven knows where he's going to order his next attack.

Democrats addressed the American Indian Conference in Albuquerque. There was confusion. The anti-war candidates don't understand the laugh they get from this audience when they say in their stump speeches that America is not a colonial power.

John Kerry employed high-flown rhetoric Wednesday to deny his campaign is in trouble. Every day he sounds more like his role model. There's a photo on his desk of a teenaged John Kerry shaking hands with Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
