And now for the
important news ....

http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | Democrat Senator Joe Biden held hearings on the Bowl Championship Series. He himself played flanker at Delaware. He once tried out for the New York Giants, but when they made him run the forty yard dash the timer had to keep a diary of the trip.

Democrats lashed out at each other in Detroit last Sunday at the Democratic Party presidential debates. They shouted and snarled and made funny faces. No one has seen a party like this since the picnic scene in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Howard Dean said Saturday he will be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags on their pick-ups. It was a noble attempt to try to sound like the common man. It's not that easy for a guy who even sent his dog to private obedience school.

U.S. Viceroy Paul Bremer signed a decree declaring a fifteen percent flat tax for all Iraqis. It's an experimental idea to see if low taxes can attract enough business to rebuild a war zone. If it works in Baghdad they will try it in Detroit.

Italy's president Silvio Berlusconi promised Friday to aid the United States in policing and rebuilding Iraq. Is this a good idea? The U.S. and Italy helped to defeat Germany during World War II, but the Italians were fighting on Germany's side.

Robert Blake drew a lot of media to the Van Nuys courthouse Friday. The cameras happened to see an enraged man shooting a lawyer on the front lawn. The lawyer was saved by paramedics who were the first to notice he had lost a lot of billable hours.
