Idiocracy on Parade

Police arrest two (supposed) adults dressed as Captain Planet in Manhattan

After reviewing all the photos and articles written about last week's Climate March in Manhattan, I have come to the conclusion that there were only two main elements on parade-communism and Idiocracy. For those who are unfamiliar with that last term, it is derived from the 2006 film Idiocracy that is best described by Wikipedia: a futuristic " dystopian society wherein advertising, commercialism, and cultural anti-intellectualism have run rampant and dysgenic pressure has resulted in a uniformly unthinking society devoid of intellectual curiosity, social responsibility , and coherent notions of justice and human rights." Now doesn't that describe this bunch to a T?

It was not hard to figure out who the communists were as they waving the anti-capitalism signs and wearing Karl Marx t-shirts while passing out the communist newsletters. The very fact that it was called the 'People's" Climate March should have been a giveaway; according to these marchers, capitalism is the main cause of climate change or as it was formerly known in an earlier life-Global Warming. Come to think of it, these communists may also be part of the Idiocracy crowd as they have forgotten to think coherently as well.

Author Truman Capote has been quoted saying, "The better the actor the more stupid he is." Leonardo DeCaprio and Mark Ruffalo are very good actors and should stick to scripted pages as they are not smart enough to realize that fellow marcher Al Gore is a fraud. Former V.P. Gore is the perpetrator of one of the biggest hoaxes in our time all the while becoming a carbon credit billionaire thanks to lamebrains like these Hollywood useful idiots.

If the brain cells of the marchers had ever been activated, they would realize these pertinent facts:

But we haven't always kept records to keep track of these changes. Any claim that this data exists is erroneous and possibly deliberately fraudulent. Global warming, and global cooling have happened many times in the past and the earth and man have survived just fine.

The planet is billions of years old and is perfectly capable of taking care of itself. The most important thing we can do for the environment is make sure the air we breathe is pure and the water we drink is safe to drink. I strongly recommend watching George Carlin on YouTube talking about global warming. Those environment standards that are being pushed on us by the EPA and the United Nations are designed to control the way we live not to save the planet. Those so-called energy saving companies received stimulus funding from this administration because they were owned by big Democrat donors. Not surprisingly most of them tanked. BTW-wind turbines have been killing and vaporizing bald eagles and other birds yet PETA hasn't made a peep.

Have you seen the animated children's movie-The Lorax? One of the villains is the Mayor, Aloysius O'Hare, who sells air to the gullible residents of the polluted town which has no trees. The subtle message here is that corrupt humans have destroyed all the oxygen producing trees and this has led to the town's disastrous environmental crisis. It's just a silly movie but then how do we deal with the reality of what's happening in China?

The Wall Street Journal reported back in March, "Proving that China's fight against pollution has moved decisively into the realm of parody, bags containing mountain air were shipped into one particularly smog-addled city over the weekend…No, it wasn't a scene from Spaceballs. According to the organizer, a Henan-based travel company, 20 bright blue bags of air were shipped to Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan province, as a special treat for residents. The air originated from Laojun Mountain, some 120 miles away from the city, and was brought as part of a promotional gimmick to show oxygen-deprived city residents what they're missing."

Even earlier in 2012, Global Post reported in an article by Liu Meng; "Chen Guangbiao, a Chinese private entrepreneur known for his philanthropy, began to sell canned fresh air Monday, a move he claimed was to draw more people's attention to environmental protection. "We've sold 1,000 cans in Tongzhou district today, earning about 5,000 yuan ($792)," Chen told the Global Times Monday, adding that he will donate all the earnings to the Chinese military to defend the Diaoyu Islands. The air is collected from revolutionary regions, including Jinggang Mountain in Jiangxi Province, some ethnic minority areas and Taiwan, and sells for four to five yuan each, he said. "One only has to open the can, directly 'drink' it or put the nose close to the can to breath deeply," said Chen."

To sum up-As Bugs would say-"what a bunch of maroons."

I never fell for An Inconvenient Truth and it is disgusting that public schools actually added it to the curriculum as genuine scientific fact. But it is encouraging to read blogs of those who now recognize it for the hoax it is. Here's just one written by a blogger on Hub Pages called sannyasinman: "It was not until the idea of carbon credit trading reared its head that I began to feel that something was not right. To me this was a completely lunatic idea. How could anyone buy the right to pollute the planet - and who could sell them that right? When I discovered that not only had Al Gore himself proposed this system, but also stood to make billions of dollars from brokerage fees in the trading of carbon credits, then it smelt very fishy indeed. Then more scientists began to speak out about the true origins of global warming, and I began to see that there was in fact no proof that human Co2 emissions (carbon emission) have anything to do with global warming. It is a natural, cyclic phenomenon probably caused by the activity of the sun and has been going on for eons. Then there were the leaked emails, the so called "Climategate" clearly showing that the nucleus of scientists supporting Al Gore's Co2 idea had in fact been falsifying information for years."

It is obvious from the interviews of the People's Climate March that they have not had the same epiphany that sannyasinman has had and are still mired in the dumbing-down throes of Idiocracy.

Let's hope we wise up in the next 500 years.
