• Governor Cuomo aired a slide show of him kissing political leaders on the cheek throughout his career. He was apparently trying to explain it's no different than when he gropes women's rear ends and breasts. Governor Cuomo is having the craziest week of his political career until next week.
• CDC Director Rochelle Walensky nullified private property rights and decreed that it's a crime for landlords to evict tenants. Could bank accounts and private homes be next? I don't want to say the world has turned upside down, but Yakov Smirnov is moving back to Russia to protect his fortune.
• Dr. Fauci said the Delta variant could mutate into a virus-resistant form if vaccinations aren't completed. He mentions infections but never the plummeting death rate. Dr. Fauci reminds me of the doctor who put a printed slogan on his office wall that reads A Cured Patient is a Lost Customer.
• The White House kept banging the Delta variant drums Tuesday and urged private businesses to require masks to be worn indoors for entry. Imagine how the mask mandates are affecting the bank robbers, nobody takes them seriously anymore. But I should quit making fun of Goldman Sachs.
• Boston Mayor Kim Janey ripped New York vaccine cards to enter bars restaurants, gyms and venues. Her fellow blacks shun the vaccine. Rather than urge blacks to get the vaccine, she knows that it's better politics for Democrats to assert that survival is just another example of white privilege.
• The Griffith Park Observatory in L.A. reopened access to its balcony telescopes allowing people to view the universe. Last night while I was jogging, I looked up and saw a spectacular stream of light streaking across the night sky. It was either a shooting star or a billionaire in a mid-life crisis.
• National Geographic released a special edition magazine now on supermarket shelves in which archaeologists reveal examples of life in ancient Egypt. It speaks to us today. Children in ancient Egypt didn't know that their Dad would someday become a mummy, and neither did the Kardashians.
• USA Today reported high schools are debating whether to open, require masks or vaccination cards. Educators want all high school football players vaccinated for Covid to ensure their health and safety. Whatever it takes to get them back on the football field giving concussions to one another.
• President Biden expressed determination to expand Medicare to cover every American and not just senior citizens. I've learned that Medicare alone is not enough coverage. Last week I went to the doctor after I aggravated my heel jogging and he said the best he could do is teach me how to limp.
• People reported Prince Harry was extravagantly generous to Meghan on her fortieth birthday Friday in California. Harry has reportedly angered the Royal Family by giving her two of Diana's jewels. Harry and Meghan just gave their one millionth interview to talk about their need for privacy.
• Barack Obama canceled his big birthday party out of respect for Covid protocols. It's a shame for comedy fans. Canceling the big party robs us of the scene where Biden is constantly handing his empty glass to Obama and asking for a refill and addressing Denzel Washington as Mr. President.
• Bill Gates appeared on CNN Thursday and apologized for hanging out with notorious Jeffrey Epstein, saying all they had was dinner. He needn't worry. Gates had himself injected with the Kennedy-Clinton-Biden-Cuomo vaccine which makes him immune to any sexual misconduct charges.
• New York Governor Andrew Cuomo brainstormed with his staff Friday to help him navigate through his sex misconduct crisis. He can't keep from grabbing women within reach. The Airline Flight Attendants Union just voted him Most Likely to End Up Duct Taped to His Seat on the Plane.
• Joe Biden and GOP leader Mitch McConnell agreed on the need for vaccinations Friday. Covid was credited with Trump's defeat in 2020, but the surge in Covid could cause Governor Newsom's recall. You know your Republic is in big trouble when a virus is the only bi-partisan thing in America.
