http://www.NewsAndOpinion.com | John Kerry announced Saturday he will not visit Florida to see the hurricane damage for himself. It's just as well. The last time John Kerry went up in a helicopter to survey flooded areas and report on destroyed villages we lost the war.


John Kerry halted his campaign Friday to fly to his wife's lodge in Idaho for a vacation. He has lots of options. His wife Teresa owns five vacation mansions scattered all over the country, in addition to the barge on the Nile she calls home.


The Athens Olympics began Friday with a parade of ancient Greek figures. The first in the parade was the Centaur, whose front half is a man and whose back half is a horse. Even in ancient times, the side effects from steroids were a bit obvious.


Smarty Jones was given a tearful farewell party in Philadelphia Saturday. His owner sold him to a stud farm rather than race him for a few more years and draw millions of fans to the track. The only logical conclusion is, the horse had a vote.
