Comdex canceled its annual computer exhibition in Las Vegas
Wednesday. The locals hate this convention. These computer
geniuses bring a white shirt and a twenty-dollar bill to Las Vegas
and they go five days without changing either one.
Democrats honored Michael Moore at an after-screening party
Wednesday at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. For years
senators, congressmen, lobbyists and lawyers have stayed in this
hotel. The Gideon Bibles are chained to the nightstands.
John Kerry called for unrestricted embryonic stem-cell
research Wednesday, on top of his church-provoking pro-choice
position. Ex-communication doesn't scare him. He just found out
that communion wafers are not on the South Beach Diet anyway.
Rebels and Redcoats: How Britain Lost America aired on PBS Wednesday. The so-called revolution was a civil war between Whig rebels and Tory loyalists. Great Britain could have easily won the war but they insisted on wearing red in the woods.
