Argus Hamilton's Rogue Report
The L.A. Times in an article on school safety drills ran a photo of Baby Boomer kids preparing for nuclear attack with a Duck-and-Cover drill in 1959. It shows us all lined up face-down on the hallway floor with our hands over our heads. It looks like they were playing a Yoko Ono song over the PA system.

Kevin Spacey drew five charges of sexual assault against three young men in England Thursday if he steps foot on British soil. He is now a defendant in a civil case brought by his first young male accuser. We've waited 13 years for someone to claim Michael Jackson's crown as the new King of Pop.

South Korea TV producers released a zombie comedy on Netflix called All of Us Are Dead that's set in high school. Zombie situations are perfectly believable here in the Covid era. As for the premise, anyone who believes that the dead cannot come back to life has never been at the DMV at quitting time.

The New York Times marked two years since George Floyd's death by running a photograph of the cop kneeling on his chest on the street in front of a gas station in Minneapolis. It's so sad. The fact that you can see the sign at the gas station offering Regular Unleaded at $1.89 a gallon makes it even worse.

Barack Obama raised eyebrows Wednesday by linking the school shooting in Uvalde to the death of George Floyd at the hands of police two years ago. How I've missed his daily lecture. Otherwise I would have never realized that George Floyd was the real victim of the Texas school shooting last week.

CNN reports women now outnumber men in college by sixty-to-forty percent. The report says the longer women put off marriage the fewer eligible men there are, leading eventually to self-centered bachelors and brief affairs. The tables turn dramatically in men's favor at age 35, I don't make the rules.

The New York Times reported Taylor Swift gave the college commencement speech at New York University last week, giving graduating seniors a taste of their lives to come. When you think about it, college is a LOT like breaking up with Taylor Swift. You're still going to be paying for it decades later.

President Biden faced criticism for flying to Asia this past weekend and not working to solve the inflationary crisis that's now plaguing Americans. The president would get a fresh perspective if he'd just visit the border. This past weekend, a truckload of Americans were just caught sneaking into Mexico.

NBC News reports Mexican cartel members are stationing themselves in hills above the U.S. border inside Arizona and directing border crossings using binoculars and their cell phones. Each month these gangs get more brazen. In Las Vegas, Treasure Island Casino is being managed by Somali pirates.

WalMart and Target and other retailers' stocks plummeted on the New York Stock Exchange last week because of the crisis in getting goods to the stores. We only have a month to repair the supply chain for retailers. BLM said there'll be no rioting this summer unless store shelves are properly stocked.

President Biden shrugged off high gas prices Monday and said it's part of the painful transition to green energy. Substitutes are a problem. Gasoline prices are so bad I poured Russian vodka into my lawn mower tank, and it immediately invaded my next door neighbor's lawn and claimed the flower bed.

Ukraine's President Zelensky said Wednesday for peace talks to begin Russian forces must halt their offensive in the Donbas and return to Russia. In reaction, Biden said he strongly opposes the damage caused by all the Russian tanks roaring into Eastern Ukraine. Those tanks should be electric.
