Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas revealed to Congress his agents will be monitoring misinformation and disinformation Americans post on social media. Talk about mission creep. Homeland security is protecting the borders of the Metaverse, instead of Texas, Arizona and California.

• Senator Elizabeth Warren warned the White House Sunday that Democrats will get annihilated in the November elections if they don't push to pass the party's leftist agenda, including canceling student loan debt. Liz Warren is an old hand at sounding alarms. Her Indian name is Running Scared.

• Hunter Biden's partner visited the White House nineteen times when Joe was VP but Joe denies any knowledge of his son's shady business deals. The joke's on us. For years everybody has said that Joe Biden doesn't know anything and now that Biden says he didn't know anything, nobody believes him.

• President Biden reacted to the negative GDP number released Thursday by insisting it's the result of robust growth. Today the president found slid under his office door the Morning Security Briefing in a sealed envelope that was marked Do Not Bend. It took him two hours to figure out how to pick it up.

• The NFL College Player Draft reminded me of my college graduation and decision to perform in the public arena of Los Angeles in 1976. The first thing I learned was, it's not how many times you fall down, it was how many times you get back up. That was the roadside sobriety test in West Hollywood.

• The New York Post said Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter turns the Left's control of the news narrative on its head. I've noticed that everyone's reaction to it is proportionate to how tech savvy they are and how engaged they are in today's social media world. I just hope that some weird guy doesn't buy e-mail.

• Elon Musk promised to reveal the Twitter algorithm that censors so many conservative posts and posts unfriendly to the progressive agenda. Yet political censorship doesn't keep vile language from being posted. Twitter sounds like a guy with Tourette's Syndrome who just hit his thumb with a hammer.

• Elon Musk tweeted that the free speech he will bring back to Twitter will alienate the political far left and the far right, but free speech will give everyone and every view a voice in the town square. The guy is a real crowd pleaser. Next Elon plans to buy McDonald's and fix all the ice cream machines.

• Russia's Vladimir Putin counterattacked against Western sanctions Wednesday by cutting off all gas exports to Poland and Bulgaria, setting off a frenzy in the commodity markets and a spike in the price of diesel fuel oil. Natural gas is Russia's third biggest export. Could vodka and brides be next?
