Major League Baseball agreed to put Spider Man logos on the
bases to promote the release of Spider Man II this summer. What a
handy marketing tool. A month from now they can paint the bases
blue when Viagra sponsors Bill Clinton's book tour.
John Kerry appeared at a Cinco de Mayo gala in Los Angeles
and gave a speech in both Spanish and English. Listeners came away
impressed. John Kerry showed he's the first presidential candidate
who can put a crowd to sleep in two languages.
Senator Ted Kennedy backed a Democratic Party proposal
Monday to let illegal immigrant workers stay in the U.S. It was
