• The NCAA women's swimming title win by transgender woman Lia Thomas prompted worldwide debate over the rights of transgender versus fairness in competition. Trans-women in Ukraine are being told they must return to battle and fight the enemy. Clearly they never aired MASH reruns in Kiev.
• President Biden landed in Brussels Wednesday to attend an emergency meeting of NATO leaders in the wake of nuclear saber-rattling by Vladimir Putin. Joe is there to apply his time-tested Biden Doctrine to the volatile world situation. The Biden Doctrine states that Iran was responsible for 7-Eleven.
• President Biden flew to Belgium for NATO meetings Wednesday on the first leg of a European trip that will include a scheduled side visit to Poland as well. By giving a speech in Warsaw, it makes his trip to the continent a fact-finding mission as well. We will find out if they tell Joe Biden jokes in Poland.
• The London Sun newspaper published front page color photos displaying Vladimir Putin's five hundred million dollar yacht. The yacht is equipped with a cyber-secure control panel from which Putin could order a nuclear attack. All I can say is, Hollywood picked a GREAT year to kill James Bond.
• Ukraine's President Zelensky was invited to perform a comedy bit via satellite at the Oscars. He was a sitcom actor who played the president of Ukraine in a series called Ukraine's Dad. If we'd have just sent them America's Dad, Bill Cosby would have just slipped something in all the Russians' drinks.
• Washington D.C. mourned the passing of our first female Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, at age eighty-four Wednesday. Madeleine was born Jewish, raised Roman Catholic, and then converted to an Episcopalian. There wasn't a country club in America that could exclude her for religious reasons.
• Jamaica sought reparations from England ahead of Will and Kate's visit Friday. The islanders got the roads, buildings, runways, radio, TV towers, electricity and water works free of charge. Say what you will about England but she created the largest number of independence days the world has ever seen.
• Judge Jackson in Senate confirmation hearings Tuesday was asked to define a woman and she said she doesn't know, she's not a biologist. Her reply inspired me to try to stay in my own lane. Last night, somebody asked me if there are three feet to a yard, and I said, I don't know, I'm not a podiatrist.
• Donald Trump filed suit against Hillary, the DNC and UK spy Christopher Steele for conspiring to commit election fraud by making up the Trump- Russia collusion hoax. As well, Hillary just caught Covid. The doctor asked her when she lost her sense of taste, and she said it was the day she married Bill.
• Transgender college swimmer Lia Thomas's win sparked debate over the definition of a woman in Supreme court confirmation hearings Wednesday. No one can deny her win was a record-setting event. Lia Thomas is the first NCAA women's swimming champion who can spell her name in the snow.
• The New York Times reports a nasty White House rift between Team Biden and Kamala Harris's team after she was sidelined from the stage during the Ukraine crisis due to her meandering speeches. During Kamala's last speech in Brussels, the vice president lost her train of thought. There were no survivors.
• President Biden worked on Allies to sanction Vladimir Putin's personal holdings Thursday while Putin threatened Biden with reprisals. Biden will be eighty years old this year and Putin will be seventy. Normally, when guys this age get into a fight with each other, it's in the balcony at the Muppet Theater.
• President Biden sent more U.S. troops to NATO countries bordering Russia Friday to demonstrate full support. The Russians have never faced the U.S. Army of Inclusion. If we're going to involve U.S. troops in the fighting, Putin had better have separate facilities for trans-POWs or there WILL be trouble.
