Planned Parenthood's Useful Idiots Avoid the Truth

With the Trump administration threatening to defund Planned Parenthood, pro choice celebrities and leftwing media personalities are holding fundraisers and protests to benefit PP.

Even Barbara Bush, daughter of President GWB, was recruited to speak at a Planned Parenthood event in Fort Worth.

Most Hollywood actresses, like Scarlett Johansson and other A listers are doing their best to fundraise for the endangered abortion provider which just goes to prove that they nothing about actual Planned Parenthood activities.

These useful pawns of the progressive left actually believe that women's reproductive rights are threatened if Planned Parenthood loses federal funding.

PP spends millions in contributions to pro choice political action committees, i.e. Democrats.

PP does not provide prenatal care. It does not provide mammograms.

The services PP does provide are readily available in local clinics and hospitals. Most of the funding it gets from the government is through Medicaid which these clinics and hospitals also accept; Planned Parenthood provides 40% of all abortions but it charges the patients up front for them. PP is not free.

According to its website: Cash, credit card, certified check or Medicaid and/or your private insurance are the only ways to pay for abortion care at a Planned Parenthood health center in New York State.

The very name of Planned Parenthood is very misleading as it has very little to do with anyone actually becoming a parent. Most of the rival crisis pregnancy clinics, like Expectant Mothercare, do provide excellent prenatal care and testing, in addition to sonograms and at some 3d sonograms which clearly show images of their unborn.

The problem most of the pro life advocates make is believing that pro choicers give a rap about the fetus. They don't. As one of the commenters on a site listing the 42 celebrities that support Planned Parenthood noted

When those undercover videos revealing PP's officials discussing selling fetal parts to various research groups emerged, many advocates turned the scandal into a plus. In an article by S.E. Smith in the blog Bustle:

"In a way, though, they also did us a favor. Many patients weren't even aware that they could donate fetal tissue for research before these videos helpfully informed them about it. Donating fetal tissue contributes to invaluable scientific research that cannot be performed with other organ and tissue donations, but the stigma surrounding abortion has made it verboten topic -- at the cost of medical advancements." . . . "Some research can only take place with fetal tissue, as Jessica Mason Pieklo of Reproductive Health Reality Check points out in an interview with Bustle. The American Society for Cell Biology lays out the reasons fetal tissue research is so important, and articulates the huge social benefit to working with these rapidly dividing, highly adaptive cells. "

Aha! Therein that last sentence lies the real motive behind the Roe V. Wade abortion campaign.

Did you actually fall for the argument that abortion was to benefit poor women who found themselves in an unwelcome pregnancy and were at risk of dying in back alley abortions?

You were fooled.

Those large death figures were fabricated by men like Dr. Bernard Nathanson, co-founder of NARAL.

In fact, there were a lot of men who benefited from having fetal cells available for medical research- mad scientists or amoral researchers?

The primary course of action needed was to convince the public and the gullible that a fetus was not a viable human so that abortion was merely a surgical tool not an evil act.

The United States is one of only seven nations that allow abortion for the full nine months. It must be difficult to watch a squirming full grown baby gasping for breath before having its life snuffed out by a Kermit Gosnell copycat.

We elected a man twice who had voted against Illinois Born Alive Act legislation that sought to spare infants who survive abortion while he was a state senator. Oops, did I use the word, 'baby'?

Sorry. I keep forgetting that so many pro choice women do not use that term when discussing abortion. To many women who have had abortions, the idea that they have killed their babies must be kept in the recesses of their minds. But quite a few have celebrated that decision and wear t-shirts emblazoned with self-congratulatory messages.

When those undercover Planned Parenthood videos emerged as did the facts that recipients of those fetal parts had distributed them to be used as flavor enhancers by various companies, I was appalled. Nevertheless when I shared this horrific information with a relative, she told me that she was sorry but she wasn't going to stop drinking her favorite soda.

I wrote this in May 2015. Planned Parenthood has alleged that these videos were heavily edited and thus irrelevant but I suggest that they all be judged on their own merits. One official clearly discusses how valuable developed fetuses are for sale. Watch the YouTube videos on the Center For Medical Progress site and come to your own conclusions.

It is also very clear that the useful idiots shilling for PP is unaware of why this so called benevolent foundation was founded by Margaret Sanger. Miss Sanger was a eugenicist whose ideas for ridding the planet of lower species such as blacks and the mentally inferior were appropriated by Nazi Germany. She once spoke at a KKK rally in New Jersey which Planned Parenthood and its lapdog media fact checkers deny even though she admitted it in her autobiography-Always to me any aroused group was a good group, and therefore I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan at Silver Lake, New Jersey, one of the weirdest experiences I had in lecturing.

One Hollywood personality, rapper Nick Cannon, former Disney star and TV host, has not succumbed to the PP spell and accuses it of black genocide. Cannon, himself nearly aborted, thanks his mother for letting him survive in a song but his outspokenness has probably cost him his hosting gig at 'America's Got talent' which he quit before he could be fired.

Another African American who realized what Planned Parenthood is really all about is Dr. la Verne Tolbert who was a PP member of the board from 1975-1980 and wrote:

"I struggled with the question, 'Which population are they trying to control?' As a black woman, the question kept coming back to me like a boomerang. I wondered why abortion was more necessary for my ethnic group, why this organization fought so hard to give us this particular "right" when the rights for better education, better jobs, and better housing seemed paramount."

There are many celebrities who are not useful idiots but we are unlikely to hear from them as long as the mainstream media pretends that the billion dollar Planned Parenthood is really all about women instead of money.
