Queen Elizabeth gave her annual Christmas address to the
world Sunday at the Buckingham Palace chapel. Everyone was so
relieved to see her. For two weeks there's been a wild rumor
flying around that Elton John is the new Queen of England.
Woody Allen wowed movie critics Tuesday with his new movie
Match Point. He is hot again. Woody Allen was just featured on
Biography in an episode that covered the span of his life, from
his days on the playground to his days on the playground.
Air India's flight from Los Angeles to New Delhi was delayed
forty-six hours Monday. The passengers were locked in the plane
like prisoners. Americans were on hold for two days waiting for
them to get back to their customer service cubicles.
Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah announced plans Tuesday to
build a fabulous new city in the desert. The bin Laden company
will build it. Isn't it a conflict of interest for a construction
company to have a family member who blows up buildings?
Mexico's government vowed Tuesday to block the U.S. plan to
build a wall along the Mexican border. It's easy for them to halt
the project. All they have to do is put out a health warning in
Spanish stating that building walls causes impotence.
The Los Angeles School Board just voted to get rid of all the candy and soda machines from grade schools. It was too late. Last night three department store Santas checked into Los Angeles County Hospital for lower back problems and hernias.
