• Attorney Michael Avenatti, who represents a Preident Trump accuser, was back in front of the TV cameras after his arrest in Los Angeles. He claimed he was completely innocent after he was arrested for assaulting a woman. No one believed that Avenatti was serious about running for president until now.
• President Trump took Amazon to task Friday saying Amazon short-changes the Postal Service in payment for package deliveries. It's not all bad news. It was just reported the Postal Service last year lost nearly four billion dollars, making it by far the most profitable branch of the U.S. government.
• The White House disclosed plans to push the lame duck session of Congress for more money to turn back the tide of illegal immigrants. The effort just got some unexpected help. The Democrats in Palm Beach County found enough boxes full of votes to build the Border Wall.
• Hillary Clinton told a University of Texas forum that Georgia's Democrat candidate for governor Stacy Abrams would have won if there'd been a fair election. It's just another example of how the Democratic Party needs new blood in its national leadership. I was watching Nancy Pelosi's press conference and I caught myself wondering how she moves without Wayland Flowers.
• Science Digest reported that scientists have decided to change the definition of a kilogram due to worldwide fluctuations in the kilogram's exact weight. Standardizing the kilogram will be very helpful. Hollywood finds it hard to finish productions when there is instability in the cocaine market.
• The Wall Street Journal reported that Hillary Clinton could be planning a run for president in two years. Forget all the evidence the Republicans might uncover against her in the meantime. Hillary refuses to give up on the Clinton dream of becoming America's first two-impeachment family.
• The Boston Globe quoted epidemiologists who reported that West Nile Virus was discovered near the campus of Harvard this year. The diagnosis was swift. Harvard officials say that the mosquitoes, because of improper diet and poor education, may have been the real victims in this case.
• The Wall Street Journal poll showed that Joe Biden is now the most popular Democrat among voters as a possible presidential candidate in two years. The bad news is, word is leaking out of the Clinton camp that Hillary is yet again planning to run for president. This is bordering on harassment.
