• The Justice Department Monday initiated the release of thousands of federal prisoners whom the president felt received overly harsh sentences. There's always worry about the rate of recidivism. Even the Thanksgiving turkey that Barack Obama pardoned is back on the streets committing crimes.
• Speaker Paul Ryan told reporters the GOP House won't work with President Obama on illegal immigration. The president's executive orders poisoned the well. President Obama wants full amnesty for all illegal immigrants before he hands the country over to his successor, the King of Spain.
• Russian officials ripped U.S. and British intelligence for saying that satellite images prove that the Russian airliner exploded over the Sinai due to a bomb on the plane, likely placed by terrorists. The Russians insist that all the facts aren't in yet. And everyone thought Camille Cosby was in denial.
• President Obama on Thursday hosted Native American tribal leaders in an annual conference at the White House. It's between the chiefs, the cabinet and the president. He enjoyed hearing the wisdom of traditional tribal folklore, like always stick on sixteen if the dealer is showing a five or less.
• The Pentagon Inspector General announced he discovered the Pentagon spent forty-three million dollars building a natural gas filling station in Afghanistan. Taxpayers should let out a loud sigh of relief. Any other project approved by the Pentagon would have cost ten times that much.
• Jeb Bush put on a big smile at a campaign rally where he re-launched his campaign with the slogan Jeb Can Fix It. He's thrashing. It's not a good sign if you are returning from the dead for the third time, three months ahead of the first primary and a year before the general election.
• President Obama said he didn't break his vow not to send U.S. troops to Syria when he sent U.S. troops to Syria. He said it was nullified when he sent U.S. troops to Iraq, which he'd vowed not to do. Barack Obama's Syria strategy is so screwed up he's trying to change the subject to his Iraq strategy.
• A Maryland professor on Friday declared he's solved the mystery of what caused the death of England's Puritan dictator Oliver Cromwell in 1658. Puritans liked to pose for their portraits while praying on one knee next to their muskets. That was to make sure they got what they were praying for.
• Barack Obama got laughs saying if GOP candidates can't take the heat from CNBC moderators, how could they stand up to Russia and China. He himself has not punished China for cyber attacks, he's allowed Russia to re-imperialize and permitted Iran nuclear weapons. What bothers Anglo-Saxons most about Mr. Obama is his determination to make World War III a fair fight.
