The German Opera canceled the Mozart opera Idomeneo Monday. In one scene it shows the severed heads of Jesus, Buddha, Muhammed and Poseidon. Christians and Buddhists are pretty calm so far, but the Muslims and stingrays are on the warpath.
Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez declared victory over Colombia's Cali cocaine cartel Tuesday. The two founders pleaded guilty in a Miami courtroom. Literary agents from Hollywood were on hand to welcome them both to the Screen Writers Guild.
Condi Rice accused Bill Clinton Monday of lying to Fox News about his legacy of anti-terrorism. She's the Secretary of State. It's nice to see that at least one of Bill Clinton's female accusers didn't end up selling handbags over the Internet.
Congress was besieged by airliner pilots Tuesday who lobbied to lift the age restriction that forces them to retire at age sixty. There's a reason they make airline pilots retire at sixty. It's Alcoholics Anonymous's maximum age for newcomers. Every weekday JewishWorldReview.com publishes what many in in the media and Washington consider "must-reading".
