• The Supreme Court's decision upholding ObamaCare subsidies was followed last week by Aetna purchasing Humana for two hundred thirty dollars per share. Things are moving too fast. Medicare is proposing paying doctors for end-of-life counseling, in other words, transferring their older patients to an HMO.
• Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she was deeply offended by Donald Trump's criticism of illegal immigration. However she said she will not return Donald Trump's two hundred thousand dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton said she was deeply offended, she didn't say she was solvent.
•
The U.S. Army had to cut forty thousand U.S. troops Friday so that the U.S. government can afford to pay for entitlement programs in the budget. Generals were asked not to panic. It's just a temporary troop reduction until the Pentagon, the Congress and the President decide who we need to invade next.
• Germany's foreign minister hosted a meeting on the Greek debt where he jokingly offered U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew to trade him Greece for Puerto Rico. It puts everything in perspective. People think that global warming is a crisis, then Germany starts giving away other people's countries.
• Vietnam's communist party boss Nyguyen Phu Trong met with President Obama at the White House Wednesday.The party boss was there to talk trade. Last year, Vietnam opened up its very first McDonald's in Ho Chi Minh City and now he's offering offshore drilling in exchange for artery stents.
