War of the Worlds had the best opening week in the history
of Paramount. The movie's storyline is riveting. The idea is to
mystify people and terrify them at the same time, and that was
just the interview with Tom Cruise on the Today Show.
Major League Baseball owners this week are considering an
offer to purchase the Washington Nationals from ultra-liberal
Democratic Party donor George Soros. The first thing he would do
is fire the organist. The entertainment between innings would be a
lecture on slavery in America and the mistreatment of the Indians.
Senator Barbara Boxer said Tuesday she is prepared to
filibuster any Supreme Court nominee who opposes abortion rights.
She represents the state of California. Californians believe that
life begins when you sell the house and move to Las Vegas.
Hillary Clinton went to Singapore Monday to push New York's
bid to host the Olympics. She's always been into sports. When she
was a little girl growing up on the north side of Chicago she led
her Little League in crooked real estate deals.
Congresswoman Carolyn Kilpatrick replied to China's threats
Tuesday by warning China that Congress is the highest branch of
the U.S. government. How do you like that? Somebody just read the
Constitution and found out that Congress has a say in things.
