Forbes published a list of the Twenty Brightest Business Majors who are graduating this week from college. If a Baby Boomer may pass along a word of wisdom to the young business hot shots, it's this. If you are planning to open a large retail store in a major Democratic city, don't name it Target.
• The Washington Post published an article sympathetic to the Minneapolis rioters, interviewing riot leaders to hear their resentments against the cops. One young protestor said no white person is ever killed trying to pass a counterfeit Twenty. It's cute to find a kid who's never met a drug dealer.
• Los Angeles cops had a tough time rounding up looters because they were in cars and tipping each other off on social media. In West Hollywood, looters broke open a 7-Eleven delivery truck in the parking lot and made off with forty-two cases of Red Bull. How do these thieves sleep at night?
• Los Angeles restaurants re-opened Saturday so I joined friends at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset, where I discovered their Men's Room now has a floor mark where you're expected to stand six feet from the urinal. Gone are the days I could make that shot. It's straight-out senior abuse.
• The British Medical Journal Lancet conducted a study of memory enhancing pills to ascertain the five safest and most brain-enhancing store brands. Some have pharmaceutical, some herbal ingredients. If there's one thing I hate, it's walking into a store and forgetting what I was there to loot.
• President Trump issued an order Friday ending Hong Kong's special trade status with the U.S. due to China's crackdown and takeover. It's real. On Sunday I asked a Facebook friend from a prominent Hong Kong family how her freedom was being affected, and she said she can't complain.
