The Great American Boycott was called by Hispanic protesters
in sixty cities Monday to try to shut down the U.S. economy. It
made great television. The marchers tried to shut down the Port of
Los Angeles but the Chinese Army held on fourth down.
Hispanic marchers demanded citizenship for illegal aliens
Monday. They think that because they want something, they have a
right to it. Kobe Bryant thought the same thing three years ago
and he's just now getting the crowds back on his side.
The Smithsonian Institution in Washington last week unveiled
Bill Clinton's presidential portrait by the portrait artist Nelson
Shanks. The painter depicted Bill Clinton standing in the Oval
Office with his pants on. It's called artistic license.
The FBI is investigating a Washington limo service for providing prostitutes to U.S. congressmen. The public only cares about one thing. Those limos get only eight miles per gallon so they had better not be providing rides for U.S. congressmen. Los Angeles officials met with National Football League owners Tuesday to ask for a team in the Coliseum. There's no stampede. Right now we have the Lingerie Bowl in the middle of the rainy season, so we're pretty happy with the way things are.
