The New York Post reported that DEA agents arrested elderly former NFL player Clyde Hall for trying to sell agents five kilos of blow in a sting operation in New York. The arrested former NFL quarterback and drug dealer is eighty years old. Jerry Jones is wondering how did we miss this guy?
• Alex Rodriguez last week purchased the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA franchise. He bought the team with the money he saved by breaking up with Jennifer Lopez. For public safety, the team had to be sold to someone who's black, white and Hispanic, by order of the Minneapolis fire marshal.
• Purdue University researchers announced Tuesday they have developed a super white paint in their campus laboratory. The paint will help keep rooms cool inside without having to use air conditioning. The paint color comes in three shades: Ultra White, Extreme White, and Salt Lake City.
• The White House included in its infrastructure bill last week billions of dollars to go to the Big Three automakers in Detroit to build electric cars. Here in Los Angeles the saying is, you are what you drive. That explains why on Sunset Boulevard Saturday I saw Caitlyn Jenner in an old Trans-Am.
• President Biden's first hundred days in office was cheered by CNN Tuesday who said there is a new mind-set in America requiring personal accountability. I have a friend who eats every single French fry on his plate before he starts on his burger. I'm not sure but I think I should call the police.
• The White House moved to double capital gains taxes to pay for infrastructure, environmental policy overhaul, slave reparations and migrant relocation. A backlash is mounting. The new Geiko Insurance commercial says that you can save from 20-40% on everything by switching back to Trump. • John Kerry faced resignation calls after Iran military tapes show he gave Israeli missile attack intel to Iran when Secretary of State. He brokered the nuclear deal with Iran five years ago and he's working to restore it. Ten bucks says John Kerry gave the Heinz family ketchup recipe to the Iranians. • The World Health Organization reports that India is suffering a huge spike in hospitalizations due to Corona Virus cases, forcing three people into each hospital bed. This virus must have hit India pretty hard. I have not had a single phone call in a week about a car accident I haven't been in. • The London Sun says Britons are upset an indigent college spent money on a statue of Greta Thunberg unveiled on Earth Day. It's a worldwide holiday. In his annual Earth Day speech, New York Governor Cuomo insisted everything that occurred between him and Mother Nature was consensual. • Ukraine's government ordered bells to ring across the nation Tuesday on the somber occasion of the 35th anniversary of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl Nuclear Plant. Today they have a Disneyland-style theme park there. It's like the regular Disneyland only here, the six-foot mouse is real.
