Warner Brothers temporarily suspended production on the new Batman movie being filmed in London until the COVID-19 threat passes. Movie-goers know the Bat Signal being flashed against the night sky is an emergency summons to Batman. In Wuhan province it means that dinner is served.
• Nancy Pelosi gummed up the Senate bi-partisan stimulus bill by offering her own bill, which contained a liberal wish list of items unrelated to the crisis. Yet volcanic voter reaction against it moved Nancy to back down and state she'd back the Senate bill. Who says you can't blink on Botox?
• President Trump disclosed he must strike a balance between saving the economy and saving elderly lives. He said he hopes to re-open the nation for business again on Easter Sunday because he likes to see churches full again. Democrats don't care how full churches are, they eat at Popeye's.
• The Gallup Poll gave Trump a sixty percent approval for his handling of the COVID-19 crisis. We must be fair. Trump did not cause Corona Virus, Obama didn't cause Ebola, Bush didn't cause Bird Flu, and Bill Clinton only caused a couple of cases of STD's here and there.
• White House Corona Virus Task Force's Dr. Deborah Birx addressed reporters Tuesday. She said we've learned many lessons from mobilizing the nation to fight Corona Virus. To be fair, I think the least we can do is, the next time we get a virus from Mexico, we name it after a Chinese beer.
• President Trump said he's stopped referring to the Corona Virus as the Chinese virus because Chinese-Americans were feeling stigmatized by it. Yet that's where the disease originated. The problem with Chinese viruses is that after you contract one, an hour later you want another one.
• White House Task Force epidemiologist Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on Laura Ingraham's show on Fox News. The researcher pointed out that many regions of the country have been affected differently. For instance, in Chicago the Corona Virus actually lowered the death rate.
