Bobby Knight leads Texas Tech into the Sweet Sixteen
Thursday in the college basketball tournament in New Mexico. Don't
miss it. Only the state that test-fired the first atomic bomb
knows exactly the right way to heckle Bobby Knight.
Hunter Thompson's will was read in Colorado Monday and it
places his property in the Gonzo Trust. The trustees then
announced they are going to inventory Hunter Thompson's estate. It
sounds like an Easter egg hunt at the Betty Ford Center.
Prince Charles was informed Sunday his wife automatically
becomes Queen when he becomes King of England. It changes
Camilla's status. Prince Charles must now take into consideration
that Tiger Woods' wife has an identical twin sister in Sweden.
Hillary Clinton flew to Austin Tuesday to attend a
fundraiser for her Senate re-election campaign. Richard Nixon's
son-in-law Edward Cox might run against her. New Yorkers may have
to choose between the Son of Tricky and the Wife of Slicky.
Bill Clinton announced plans Tuesday to return to Sri Lanka
to check out the tsunami relief efforts. His medical condition is
fragile. If he goes four days without publicity he gets so weak
that only Congressional intervention will save him.
Italy's high court ruled Monday that Benito Mussolini's
granddaughter Allesandra Mussolini can run for public office. The
apple sure doesn't fall far from the tree. Her grandfather became
Italy's fascist dictator and forged the infamous Pact of Steel
with Nazi Germany, while she is pen pals with a youth group in
upper Minnesota.
