Jewish World Review Feb. 10, 2015 The News in Zingers By Argus Hamilton

• Jeb Bush revealed Friday he was offered the NFL commissioner's job nine years ago to replace the retiring Paul Tagliabue. It wouldn't have worked. It's the commissioner's job to clamp down on player drunk driving, drug use, and warlike behavior, and the Bush family motto is, Boys Will Be Boys.
• Pentagon officials were reported Friday discussing the possibility of talking to Congress about the possibility of bringing back the draft if boots are needed on the ground to defeat ISIS. There would be the usual exemptions. For the second time in his life, Bruce Jenner could find himself to be a role model.
• Ukraine's leaders met with French and German leaders to try to obtain aid from the European Union. To try to attract tourist dollars, Ukraine just opened up its nuclear disaster site at Chernobyl and turned it into an amusement park. They say it's just like Disneyland except the six-foot mouse is real.
• Sony Studios chief Amy Pascal resigned in the wake of hacked emails which revealed Amy joking to a producer via email that President Obama's likely favorite movie is Twelve Years a Slave. She knew the law. In Hollywood it is a sin punishable by public flogging to draw cartoons of the Prophet Obama.
• National Security Advisor Susan Rice said Friday ISIS does not pose an existential threat. And neither does al-Qaeda, al-Qaeda of Yemen, the Muslim Brotherhood, lawless Libya, Iran if it gets a nuclear bomb or Pakistan with a nuclear bomb. The Middle East isn't a theater of war, it's a multi-plex.
