The White House approved the sale of six U.S. ports to the
United Arab Emirates on Monday. All hell has broken loose in
Congress. It caused such a storm that Michael Brown just
telephoned President Bush and told him he's doing a heck of a job.
President Bush declared Tuesday he personally approved the
sale of six ports to the Arabs and vowed to veto any bill to halt
the sale. It happens this time every year. He has a habit of
getting Presidents Day mixed up with the King holiday.
Miami Dolphins star Ricky Williams insisted Tuesday he did
not test positive for marijuana as reported the day before. It
caused concern on Wall Street. The last time Ricky Williams gave
up pot they had to lay off the night shift at Sara Lee.
The U.N. reprimanded a security guard Tuesday for drawing
swastikas in a log book six months ago. There was a reason for the
delay. It took six months to confront the guy because everyone
assumed they were looking at official Iranian diplomatic documents.
James Bond fans began an Internet protest Monday over Daniel Craig replacing Pierce Brosnan. What's happened to the movie business? We get one heterosexual movie all year and it's going to be boycotted because the man isn't handsome enough.
