The NFL was reported Monday to be considering a team in Los
Angeles. There's no local support. Los Angeles would be forced to
join the rotation of Super Bowl sites and who wants to give up the
Lingerie Bowl in the middle of the rainy season?
Condoleezza Rice invited Israel's Ariel Sharon and
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to the White House on Monday. Her
tone was urgent. The two leaders just announced a cease-fire,
thereby violating the guiding principle of the Bush Doctrine.
President Bush holds military talks with Poland today at the
White House. The U.S. is meeting with Poland while Russia is
holding security talks with Iran. Everybody is excited to see that
the brackets for March Madness are already taking shape.
John Kerry was asked Sunday if he would run for president
again after polls showed most Democrats hope he doesn't run. He
replied G-d will figure it out. If three years go by and G-d
hasn't smited Iowa and New Hampshire, he will be there.
Tony Blair announced a crackdown on immigration in England
Monday. They are not being insular. Every April, in a holiday that
symbolizes the inseparability of our two countries, people on both
sides of the Atlantic observe Sinko de Titanic.
