The American Pediatric Society said kids who watch too much
TV get attention deficit disorder as they get older. That's why
there are no factory jobs left in America. If workers take more
than a half-hour for lunch they have to be re-trained.
Jesse Helms warned Republicans in a fundraising letter that
Bill Clinton wants to be U.N. Secretary-General. Comedians are
lighting candles in churches across America. In six months the
U.N. will be embroiled in a Sexual-Favors-for-Food scandal.
Condoleezza Rice assured the Turks Saturday that the U.S.
won't allow the Kurds to have their own country north of the Sunni
Triangle. The Kurdish problem is bewildering. Americans find it
tough to grasp the concept of Northern secessionists.
John Edwards flew to New Hampshire Saturday to announce he's
opening an anti-poverty center in North Carolina. He's so
selfless. He says he doesn't have all the answers, but he's
willing to try if he can get a presidential library out of it.
The New York Daily News reported Sunday that Oakland A's
former slugger Jose Canseco, in his new book Juiced, will say that
he personally injected Mark McGwire with steroids. The motive is
very obvious here. The publisher is Maris Family Books.
