Jewish World Review
A Think Toon by JD Crowe
Confessed mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed (he's the one who looks like Rosie O'Donnell's severely bed-headed brother) and his four assistant assassins will face a federal trial in New York City--- not a military tribunal at Guantanamo, Attorney General Eric holder announced Friday.
NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg praised the decision, expressing his desire to see the heathens face justice in the city left scarred by their evil deed. "Bring 'em on" seems to be the mantra of many New Yorkers.
Most Republicans weren't so enthusiastic. House GOP Leader John Boehner, he of the always Orange Alert glow-tan, said a federal trial left open "the possibilty" that the Sept. 11 accused "could be found 'not' guilty" due to some legal technicality.
Alabama's Senator Jeff Sessions called the administration's decision "dangerous and misguided." Of course, he calls everything coming from this administration dangerous and misguided. (He said the same thing about Al Franken's bill against corporate rape.)
Regardless of your political affiliation, I don't think anyone would be disappointed if, when flying the evil-doers over Ground Zero, someone accidentally shoved them out the door.
