The Pregnant Man Lie

By Greg Crosby

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | The old axiom in journalism is that if a dog bites a man it isn't a story, but if a man bites a dog, it is. So it stands to reason if a woman gives birth to a baby there is no story, but if a man gives birth to a baby …aha! Now we've got something! HOLD THE PRESSES!!

Barbara Walters, that paragon of journalistic elegance, good taste, and high class has done an interview with Thomas Beatie, the so-called "pregnant man" who miraculously gave birth to a daughter earlier this year. In this earth shaking, breaking news interview, we learn that Beatie is pregnant AGAIN with his second child. ABC News first broke the astounding news of the first birth, but since that time Beatie and his wife Nancy hadn't spoken to anyone in the media until Barbara interviewed them last month.

Can you imagine? A man actually getting pregnant, giving birth to a child, and getting pregnant again! AMAZING! What to make of all this? What words shall we use to declare this miracle of miracles? Earth-shattering? Nature defying? Universe altering? Well, How about just calling it what it is - a major hoax. A hoax that would do that old conniving huckster P.T. Barnum proud. You see, the guy isn't a guy - not REALLY. He's really a woman, with all the necessary women's plumbing.

Here's how the real story goes; once upon a time a little girl was born, not a little boy, a little girl, a female. As this little girl grew up, at some point she decided that she would rather be a boy. So she cut her hair, dressed like a man, and took hormone altering drugs. And in our dumbed-down, mixed up, gender muddling, politically correct culture she was proclaimed "legally male." But wait. At some point after being dubbed a man she decided to have a baby and so she did.

But how could this happen? Wasn't she proclaimed a "male" by our esteemed courts? The answer is simple to everyone with common sense and logical thinking - which instantly precludes the media, academia, liberal judges, and any others who wish to delude themselves.

It happened because no matter what she does to herself, she is still physically a woman inside! Sorry folks, just because the courts decide to change what you call something doesn't automatically change what it is. The high courts could rule that from now on "sand" will be called "water," but that won't make it wet. Go ahead, call it water all day long, but it's still grainy and dry and you can't drink it.

Now I don't know if Beatie's "wife" is really a man who wants to be a woman, or if Beatie was impregnated by a third party, or used artificial insemination. Frankly I'd rather not even think about it - the whole thing repulses me. But I do know this - the semen that impregnated Beatie came from a male and developed into an embryo in a woman's body. That woman is Beatie. I don't care how long her beard is. I don't care how much hair she has under her arms or how big her muscles are.

But here's how it is presented from the official ABC News web site: "Thomas Beatie, who is in his first trimester, tells Walters he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after Susan's birth so he could have another baby."I feel good," he said. "I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track." He says the baby is due June 12."

So she takes male hormones when she wants to be a man, but when she wants to have another baby, she stops the hormones and becomes a woman again. Well that's just great. And we allow this wacko to have children? Those kids are off to a great start. Instead of having children this nut should be having serious therapy. And ABC encourages this baloney by constantly referring to this sick, demented person as "he" - attempting to push their audience into buying into the "official ruling" that she is now legally a man. You know, just another lifestyle choice.

The ABC press release goes on:

"In the spring, Thomas Beatie wrote an article in the national gay magazine The Advocate, revealing that he was legally male and that he was pregnant. He released a photo showing his bearded face and pregnant belly. The news -- and the controversial photo -- ignited a media frenzy and provoked questions about traditional notions about sex and gender."

Provoked questions about traditional notions about sex and gender? Are they kidding me? The only question this provokes to me is why do ABC News and Barbara Walters think that a story about a woman having a baby is news? That's all it is, you see. A woman had a baby. You can call her a man if you like, or you can spray paint her green and call her an artichoke. But a woman (albeit a very sick, mixed up woman) had a baby, that's all.

Maybe next week Miss Walters will report on a man who bit a dog - that is if the courts decide that canines are now considered legally "men."
