Not So Hot

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Another summer is here and that means hot weather. Just like all summers, we can expect temperatures to get warmer than they do in, say, winter or fall. That's how it works. It's been happening that way for centuries. Add to that the global warming phenomena and we can most likely expect temps to absolutely skyrocket with unprecedented heat waves, right? Wrong. The fact is we've had less severe heat waves in recent years than our grandparents had years ago. If you don't believe me, check out the U.S. Annual Hear Wave Index, 1895-2013 graph put out by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Heat waves in the 1930s remain the most severe heat waves in the U.S. historical record. So why do so many people think that there is a global warming epidemic? One reason might be that temperature data has been purposely fiddled with by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), according to Steven Goddard's US blog Real Science.

On his blog Goddard shows how NOAA's US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been "adjusting" its record by replacing real temperatures with data "fabricated" by computer models. The effect of this has been to downgrade earlier temperatures and to exaggerate those from recent decades, to give the impression that the Earth has been warming up much more than is justified by the actual data.

Goddard compares the currently published temperature graphs with those based only on temperatures measured at the time. These show that the US has actually been cooling since the Thirties, the hottest decade on record; whereas the latest graph, nearly half of it based on "fabricated" data, shows it to have been warming at a rate equivalent to more than 3 degrees centigrade per century.

If you "fiddle" with the facts in order to substantiate a theory, then you are not engaging in science, you're engaging in deceit. Changing the hard facts, dealing in deception and outright lying for political purposes is nothing new for those on the Left.

Dr. Tim Ball, a climatologist for more than forty years, says that global warming "is the greatest deception in history and the extent of the damage has yet to be exposed and measured." In his book The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science, Dr. Ball outlines how and why the climate changing hoax was started and how it has taken root in our society. The whole thing was initiated by the United Nations environmental program in 1972 and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) established in 1988.



Dr. Ball tells how several UN conferences set in motion the hoax that is based on the assertion that carbon dioxide (CO2) was causing a dramatic surge in heating the Earth. Through the years IPCC reports have continued to spread this lie through their summaries for policy makers that influenced policies that have caused nations worldwide to spend billions to reduce and restrict CO2 emissions. Manmade climate change-called anthropogenic global warming-continues to be the message even though there is no real evidence that mankind has anything to do with it.

But the public doesn't know anything about the science involved, so they are easily duped. "The mainstream media bought into and promoted the unproven theory. Scientists who challenged were denied funding and marginalized," says Dr. Ball. "An entire industry had developed around massive funding from government. A large number of academic, political, and bureaucratic careers had evolved and depended on expansion of the evidence. Environmentalists were increasing pressure on the public and thereby politicians."

"Save the Earth," became the rallying cry. "Go Green." Bumper sticker slogans are easy ways to manipulate people's minds. So the falsehoods continue and people believe it. The hoax pushers even had to change the term from "global warming" to "climate change" because facts have proven that the Earth has actually gone into a cooling cycle in recent times.

The whole thing would be a joke if it wasn't so destructive and expensive.
