About the host:
A 60's refugee who set out for the Far East but changed his plans when he got to Jerusalem, singer/songwriter/guitarist Avraham Rosenblum has been hailed as The "Father of Jewish Rock." His Israel Chassidic Festival award-winning Diaspora Yeshiva Band created an original genre of Jewish rock that became the sound track for the Ba'al T'shuva (return to Judaism) Movement of the 1970's, opening the door to Judaism for thousands of spiritual seekers and launching a Jewish music revolution. Today, Avraham Rosenblum's Torah-inspired songs are as potent a dose of "rock from the Rock" as ever.
