Democratic Party officials postponed the decision on whether to have their convention in New York or Denver. They don't know what to do. Their plan to have the Knicks and Nuggets fight it out to host the convention didn't work out as well as they'd hoped.
Denver Nuggets coach George Karl on Tuesday called New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas a jackass for instigating a fist-swinging brawl in Madison Square Garden. The players were really embarrassed. They felt so naked out there without their guns.
Beverly Hills shivered Tuesday as a cold wave dropped temperatures to thirty-six degrees. It's invigorating for Christmas shoppers to hear the clippety-clop down Rodeo Drive. A lot of people did not know that saline freezes at forty degrees.
Newsweek released a poll Monday showing Hillary Clinton leading John McCain and Rudy Giuliani for the first time. Everyone's trying to jump the gun. The next morning Bill Clinton dropped by the White House to measure for privacy curtains.
China tightened rules on foreigners who want to adopt Chinese children. They ruled out anyone who's unmarried, overweight, over fifty or on antidepressants. Liza Minnelli should just be grateful that China's too polite to mention her by name.
