Parents, police dropped the ball on Jackson

We've had steady press reports that have claimed for years that Michael Jackson has engaged in unhealthy relationships with young boy.
I say "unhealthy," but most of us would consider Jackson's admitted proclivity for spending the night in bed with young boys to be "sick. "
Now, even if you believe Jackson's claim that he never had any sexual contact with the pre-teen boys, don't you have to ask yourself two questions?
First of all, what the hell took the L.A. police so long to move in on a 45-year-old man who admitted to sharing a bed with young boys on dozens of occasions? And secondly, what kind of parent would let their child spend the night with Jackson after hearing these bizarre reports coming from inside the Neverland Ranch.
It looks like these parents and the LAPD dropped the ball and let down their children all because Michael Jackson was once — and I say once — a talented pop superstar?
