Every animal leaves traces of what he was; man alone leaves traces of what he created.

Loyal JWRers:

JWR values EACH AND EVERY READER!

With the understanding that we have a number of non-Jewish readers, please find more than a dozen articles below.

We are suspending publication til Monday in observance of the last set of holidays of the "High Holy Days" season, known as Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah.

For the next 48 hours, observant Jews will spend much of the day and part of the night in the synagogue. While there 's prayer and study, there will also be joyous dancing and singing. In many regards, the holidays revolve around the children, who get to stay up late and are rewarded with all sorts of treats.

Then comes the Sabbath.

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your readership and ongoing kindness (including clicking) that keeps me going and the site alive!

May the coming year be one of health, happiness and inspiration!
