And now for the important news ....
Los Angeles developers proposed building twin forty-six story office towers in Century City. The towers would stand six miles from L.A. airport. It's such a bad idea that plans have already been approved to build a mosque near Ground Zero Junior.
President Obama named the Muslim cleric who's building a mosque near the World Trade Center site to be a Mideast envoy. It's galling. When Billy Graham retired as the permanent presidential pastor he should have named his successor and not let the position rotate.
Louisiana residents in Grand Isle flew Rebel flags to urge BP clean-up workers to go home Sunday. The gentry is appalled by these roustabouts. They've cleaned up the beaches but it could take years to get female oil wrestling out of the local bars.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs ripped liberal Democrats who compare Barack Obama to George W. Bush Tuesday. He said they should be drug-tested. You know how Democrats are, the first thing they want to know is whether you brought enough for everybody.
Harry Reid said he doesn't know how Hispanics can ever be Republicans. The GOP is indifferent to black people, anti-drug, pro-capitalism, pro-gun, pro-family and pro-religion. E-Harmony has arranged happy marriages working with less compatibility.
Osama bin Laden's cook and driver and bodyguard Ibrahim al-Qosi was sentenced in Guantanamo Wednesday to fourteen years in prison. He was insubordinate. For five years in the late Nineties he kept Osama bin Laden alive, and that was the CIA's job.
Barack Obama's approval rating fell to forty-one percent in Monday's poll. His predecessor rated a fifty-five percent at this point. Barack Obama is below George Bush's mark at twenty months in office and he hasn't even invaded the wrong country yet.
Charlie Rangel denied ethics charges in a House speech Tuesday. The next night his eightieth birthday party was held at the Plaza Hotel but few politicians dared to show their faces. He's so toxic the birthday party was catered by British Petroleum.
Jet Blue flight attendant Steve Slater cussed out a rude passenger over the PA system after the plane landed and arrived at its gate at JFK Monday, grabbed a beer and quickly exited by sliding out on an emergency side chute. It's an outrage. We always knew there was a faster way to get off a plane and they've been holding out on us.
