If we're purging society of anti-Semites, why is Bob Novak still credible?

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | In every generation there arises a radical new anti-Semite who uses the pulpit of the popular media to explain (in the most dramatic and seductive terms) how the current world crisis can be explained in just three words:

"It's the Jews."

In this nation, over the years, we've seen a succession of such Americans who occupy a place of honor in this "Hall of Shame": Father Coughlin, Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh, and George Lincoln Rockwell, among others. And today, the Jew- hating bigot of the moment is unquestionably a man of the press himself ostensibly unbiased Robert Novak.

IRAQ
Novak calls it "Sharon's war" -- implying that it was all just for Israel -- a military action jeopardizing thousands of American lives in the process. How is that no one else has, or claims to have ever had, any evidence of such a hidden, nefarious motive? And that Mr. Novak himself offers none? Because he is an anti-Semite.

ISRAEL
Novak plays the old "American Jewish lobby" card -- implying that alleged Jewish power, influence, and financial status amount to a controlling machine -- before which politicians and the military cower in fear and shrink back from daring to criticize Israel's purported wrong-doings. Mr. Novak is quite right that there is a lobby (AIPAC) for Israel, as there are lobbies for everything -- from bed-wetting to the Ku Klux Klan in this country. But Mr. Novak vilifies the Israeli lobby. Why? Because he is an anti-Semite. Why does Novak think that there is a murky, conspiracy theory behind the U.S.'s support for Israel. Can't the reason be simply that America recognizes the "rightness" of Israel's cause, that Israel is the victim and not the perpetrator of all the killings in the Middle East? And why can't Mr. Novak see this simple truth: Because he is an anti-Semite.

There is nothing more fraudulent than Novak's studiously pretentious moral outrage to any casualties to the Lebanese population. However, where was Mr. Novak's "compassionate" human spirit -- not to mention his journalistic sense of outrage -- when Israelis were regularly being injured, maimed and killed- decade after decade- in her cafes and restaurants, in her supermarkets, stores, hotels, and on her streets? Or is it perhaps Mr. Novak's beliefs that only Arabs lives are worthwhile and only their injury and loss are to be lamented.

And Novak's most egregious claim, that Israel was saved from a public relations nightmare by the distraction of Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic, drunken tirade. What a sick, preposterous expression from the suffering bones of a frustrated hater, denied his lust for an orgasmic experience at the expense of State of Israel.

Only a desperate, distorted hater could see the tragedy of Qana as the fault of the Israelis. Any honest eye can see that Israel made every effort, unprecedented in war-fare to warn, even plead with the people of Qana to leave their city and avoid the dangers of the coming attack. How many lives are the Israelis obligated to lose before they reach the moral right to attack the arsenals of destruction used against their population? What more do they expect the Israelis to have done, go "door to door" with matzo ball soup and Manischewitz wine so they have a nosh as they leave town? Instead, they chose to ignore every form of warning because as Israel proved (with undeniable picture-perfect evidence) that they weren't concerned with protecting themselves, but preferred to accept the role as "human shields", protecting missiles packed in their kitchens and toilets used as warehouses of fire power, aimed at the destruction of Israel.

Only a hateful Robert Novak would deny that if you place a child in front of a missile as camouflage for the murder of innocent people; whatever retaliation you suffered is the retaliation you should've expected. All these observations are within the considerations of any objective observer except Robert Novak. And Why?

Because he's an anti-Semite.
