Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward predicted in Colorado Tuesday the next presidential race will be between Dick Cheney and Hillary Clinton. Talk about an epic match-up. The last time these two squared off they conceived Luke Skywalker.
Baltimore Orioles star slugger Rafael Palmeiro returned to the team Thursday following a ten-game suspension for using steroids. It was quite a homecoming. His teammates greeted him with open arms, but he didn't bring enough for everybody.
The Baltusrol Golf Club hosts the PGA Championship this weekend at the famed Old Course in northern New Jersey. The course is very scary. If the golfers go too deep in the woods they will discover where Tony Soprano once shot a hole in one.
Howard Dean said Wednesday he may change the Democratic presidential primary calendar. He set off panic in Iowa and New Hampshire. Farmers in Iowa could lose their ethanol subsidy and voters in New Hampshire may have to paint their own houses.
Supreme Court nominee John Roberts, it was reported Tuesday, represented a gay rights group for free. Conservatives are becoming concerned. Most Republicans don't care if he dances around the questions but the top hat and cane have got to go.
