The Baltusrol Golf Club will host the PGA tournament today
at the famous Old Course deep in the woods of northern New Jersey.
The golfers are a little edgy. The noise in the gallery could be
anything with John Gotti Jr. on trial in New York.
The Washington Redskins training camp was picketed Monday by
Native American groups who were insulted by the team's name. They
say it connotes racism and conquest and subjugation. They want to
change the name to the Maryland Redskins.
Iran began nuclear fuel production Tuesday which will give
wild-eyed Iranian mullahs nuclear as well as chemical weapons.
Middle age is tough. Iraq may be the first war we ever got into
because our leaders were too vain to wear reading glasses.
Congress was petitioned by consumer groups on Monday to
verify the safety of silicone breast implants. The hearings would
just be embarrassing. What are the congressmen going to say to
these witnesses except that it's great to see them again?
New York prosecutor Jeanine Pirro said she would run against
Hillary Clinton for Senate. Her husband was a tax cheat and
Hillary's husband is Bill Clinton. These housewives are just a
muscular gardener away from their own hit series on ABC.
