And now for the important news ....
By Argus Hamilton
Martha Stewart drove around her estate on her Kawasaki Mule
Sunday, violating the terms of her house arrest. This could wind
up being a terrific story. How many television show producers can
say they got their start as a probation officer?
Iraqi officials on Sunday scheduled Saddam Hussein's trial
for October. There will be cameras in the courtroom and the trial
will be televised. They weren't going to schedule the trial until
they were absolutely sure Johnnie Cochran was dead.
The Iraq Council appeared Sunday to be leaning toward
Islamic Law as the basis for their new constitution and society.
It's unbelievable. Twelve years ago President Bush was just the
part-owner of a baseball team and today he's the Father of Greater Iran.
Hillary Clinton's first presidential campaign commercials
ran Sunday in New Hampshire. She takes a back seat to no one on
national defense. The Department of Homeland Security will issue a
Rouge Alert every time her husband has a free weekend.
Tony Blair, it was revealed last week, spent three thousand
dollars on television make-up. It all makes sense now. He just
captured twenty-one terror suspects in one week and everyone knows
Hollywood's looking for the next guy to play James Bond.
