WELCOME BACK WESTERN WALL. The powers that be at the Clinton News Network (CNN) must have been mighty embarrassed by the publicizing of their blatant biases against Israel. Within 24 hours of JWR's alert, the network altered its website to include the City of David as part of Israel proper. On its Jerusalem weather page, however, there is now a disclaimer. It confirms our original suspicions.
CNN now notes (please see above graphic): "The status of Jerusalem, the seat of Israeli government, is the most contentious issue in the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Palestinian and Arab leaders consider part of Jerusalem the capital of the prospective Palestinian state."
Thanks to the thousands of JWR readers who wrote CNN in protest. At least now we know -- for certain -- the real score about truth, accuracy and objectivity at the cable news "leader." One wonders what other agendas CNN may have --- ones that have not yet come to light and if, in fact, those beliefs impact and color reporting.

One also wonders when CNN will begin to acknowledge that Bethlehem, a suburb of Jerusalem, is not in a mythical nation called the "West Bank." ( Click here to see yet another stain on CNN's journalistic credibility.)
