How to show your spouse how much you love them, according to their love language
Everyone shows and receives love a little differently. While everyone appreciates a kind gesture, their love language can tell you the best way to show someone you love them.

Here's how you can show your spouse how crazy you are about them, according to their love language:

Words of affirmation

If your sweetheart's love language is words of affirmation, it's all about communication. Encourage them, empathize with them and let them know how much you appreciate them. Randomly leave them little notes in their work bag or write a sweet note on the bathroom mirror.

With so much support and praise from you, they'll wonder how in the world they got so lucky.

Physical touch

If your spouse's love language is physical touch, telling them you love them doesn't mean much unless you show it physically. Use your body language and touch to let them know how much they matter to you. Make a daily effort to hug them, kiss them and hold them close. Make intimacy a priority in your relationship, and your darling will never doubt how much you love them.

Acts of service

If your honey responds to acts of service, it means they see you two as a partnership in this marriage. When you offer to help out with things, it tells your spouse that you're there with them. Work together to do chores, offer to run an errand for them and do what you can to lighten their load.

Look at serving your spouse as an opportunity to show them how much you love them rather than a chore you have to do.

Receiving gifts

Your spouse wants to feel like a priority, so if their love language is receiving gifts, let them know that you think about them throughout the day.

Give them little gifts with or without occasion and let them know when something reminded you of them. It doesn't even have to be a physical gift, just a thoughtful gesture.

My favorite flower is a sunflower, and every time my mom sees one, she stops to take a picture and sends it to me. These little things would make all the difference for your love if this is their love language.

Quality time

Some people think this one is the lowest maintenance love language, since your sweetheart just wants to spend time with you. But if this is your spouse's love language, they'll need you to do more than just sit next to them. Create special moments with you honey - go on walks and give them those crucial one-on-one conversations they need.

Something else to keep in mind is how your honey shows their love. Yes, gift giving might be how they feel loved, but it's also probably how they show you they love you ... which is why my mom sends me pictures of sunflowers. Her love language is gift giving. It's not how I show or feel love, but since I realize that is her way of showing affection, I know what a sweet gesture it is on her part when I get a picture of a sunflower.

When you understand each other's love languages, you two will become even closer and your relationship will indestructible.
